How do you take Compass Soft Chews?

Take one Compass Soft Chew and one Compass Soft Chew Support tablet every day, preferably before or during your evening meal. Chew the Compass Soft Chew and swallow the Compass Soft Chew Support tablet with water. You can take both at the same time. Always follow your healthcare provider's advice.

Important: keep calcium and dairy separate from your Compass Soft Chew Support tablet

The Compass Soft Chew Support tablet contains iron. Calcium reduces the absorption of iron when you take them at the same time. For this reason, do not take your Compass Soft Chew Support tablet at the same time as calcium supplements or dairy products, such as milk, yoghurt and quark.

Do you also take the Calcium Soft Chew, the Calcium Vital swallowable tablets or the Calcium Chew chewable tablets? Take these at a different time.

Always leave at least two hours between taking your Compass Soft Chew Support tablet and calcium supplements or dairy products. Swallow the tablet with water.

This separation is important for good iron absorption. If your body does not absorb enough iron over a prolonged period, an iron deficiency can develop and, eventually, anaemia. Therefore, follow this intake advice every day.
