The Believe capsules have been specially developed for individuals who have undergone a sleeve gastrectomy or gastric band surgery. During a sleeve gastrectomy, a large part of your stomach is removed, reducing the amount of food you can eat. Similarly, if you have a gastric band placed, your food intake will also be restricted. Bariatric surgery marks the beginning of a new life and a step towards a healthier lifestyle. After a sleeve gastrectomy or gastric band surgery, your body will not receive enough nutrients to maintain your energy levels without additional supplements. The Believe capsules ensure that you receive the necessary daily vitamins and minerals in the correct dosage to complement your diet following a sleeve gastrectomy or gastric band surgery.

The advantage of the Believe capsules

A significant benefit of the Believe capsules is that they are slightly smaller (size 1) compared to similar bariatric or WLS (Weight Loss Surgery) supplements offered by other providers (size 0, such as the WLS Optimum capsules from FitForMe). Storage Advice

Store below 25°C in a dry and dark place. Keep out of reach and sight of young children. This food supplement is not suitable for children under 10 years old.

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 Believe capsule per day, preferably before or during your evening meal. Swallow the capsule with a sip of water or another sugar-free drink. If you experience any difficulties taking the Believe capsules, you can find practical tips under the ‘Storage and Use’ section in the ‘Advice’ menu on Elan’s website to help make the process easier. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Use only as advised by your healthcare provider. If you are taking medication, make sure to read the leaflets carefully. In case of overdose, consult your doctor.

If you accidentally forget to take your Believe capsule one day, it is not a big issue as long as it doesn’t happen too often. Simply continue taking your Believe capsules as usual the next day, without needing to make up for the missed dose or take an extra capsule.
